Getting Started
1. Charge Your XERAFIT
Before connecting your XERAFIT for the first time, make sure the device has enough battery.
We recommend charging it before completing the initial setup.

XERAFIT communicates with your smartphone using Bluetooth.
iPhone
Go to:

Important: Pair your XERAFIT through the G Band app rather than trying to connect it manually from your phone's Bluetooth menu.
3. Open G Band
Open the G Band app.
Complete the initial setup and allow the permissions required for the features you want to use.
Depending on your phone, G Band may request access to features such as:
-
Bluetooth
-
Nearby devices
-
Notifications
-
Location
-
Health or activity information
Some permissions may be required for specific app or device functions.
Connect Your XERAFIT
4. Add Your Device
Inside G Band, open the Device section.
Select the option to Add, Bind, or Search for a device.
The app will begin searching for compatible devices nearby.
Keep your XERAFIT close to your phone.
When your XERAFIT appears in the device list:
-
Select the device.
-
Confirm the connection if requested.
-
Wait for G Band to finish pairing and synchronizing.
Your XERAFIT is now ready to use.
Synchronizing Your Data
After your XERAFIT has been connected, health and activity information recorded by the device can be synchronized with G Band.
Open G Band while your XERAFIT is nearby and connected via Bluetooth.
Allow the synchronization to complete before closing the app.
Depending on your XERAFIT model and enabled features, available information may include:
Heart Rate
Review heart-rate measurements and trends.
Sleep
Review your sleep duration and available sleep-stage information.
Activity
View daily movement, steps and activity information.
Workouts
Review supported exercise and workout information.
Other health and wellness information may also be available depending on your XERAFIT model, firmware and app version.
Sleep Tracking
Wear your XERAFIT while sleeping.
The device can collect sleep-related information while you wear it. After waking up, open G Band and allow your XERAFIT to synchronize.
Your sleep information will then appear inside the app when sufficient data is available.
For the best tracking experience:
-
Wear the band securely but comfortably.
-
Keep the sensor in contact with your skin.
-
Wear XERAFIT consistently throughout the night.
-
Synchronize the device with G Band after waking up.
Sleep information may not appear immediately until the device has synchronized with the app.
Heart Rate & Health Data
Your XERAFIT uses its sensors to collect supported health and wellness measurements.
To review your information:
-
Wear XERAFIT correctly on your wrist.
-
Open G Band.
-
Make sure the device is connected.
-
Allow the latest information to synchronize.
-
Open the relevant health section inside the app.
For more consistent readings, wear the band slightly above the wrist bone with the sensor sitting flat against your skin.
The band should be secure without being uncomfortably tight.
Activity & Workouts
G Band can display activity and workout information collected by compatible devices.
Depending on the available features, you may be able to review information related to:
-
Steps
-
Daily activity
-
Walking
-
Running
-
Cycling
-
Workout duration
-
Exercise progress
-
Route information
Available functions can vary depending on the XERAFIT model, phone and current version of G Band.
Keep XERAFIT Connected
For the best experience:
Keep Bluetooth enabled.
Your phone needs Bluetooth to communicate with XERAFIT.
Allow G Band to run when necessary.
Some Android phones aggressively restrict apps running in the background. If synchronization becomes unreliable, check your phone's battery optimization settings and make sure G Band is allowed to operate in the background.
Keep the app updated.
Install available G Band updates through the App Store or Google Play.
Keep your phone nearby when synchronizing.
Bluetooth works best when your phone and XERAFIT are relatively close together.
XERAFIT Won't Connect
If your XERAFIT does not appear in G Band, try the following:
-
Make sure XERAFIT is charged.
-
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled.
-
Keep XERAFIT close to your phone.
-
Close and reopen G Band.
-
Turn Bluetooth off and back on.
-
Check that G Band has the necessary Bluetooth/Nearby Devices permissions.
-
Restart your phone if necessary.
-
Search for the device again from inside G Band.
Do not attempt to pair XERAFIT only through your phone's standard Bluetooth settings. Start the connection from inside G Band.
XERAFIT Was Previously Connected to Another Phone
A device that is still bound to another phone or account may have trouble connecting to a new phone.
If you are changing phones:
-
Open G Band on the previous phone.
-
Go to the connected device.
-
Unbind or remove the device.
-
Turn off Bluetooth on the old phone.
-
Open G Band on the new phone.
-
Search for XERAFIT again.
-
Connect the device.
Data Isn't Updating
If your measurements or activity information are not updating:
Check the connection
Make sure G Band shows your XERAFIT as connected.
Synchronize again
Open G Band with the device nearby and allow it time to synchronize.
Check Bluetooth
Bluetooth must remain enabled.
Check permissions
Make sure G Band has the permissions necessary to communicate with the device.
Check the fit
The sensor should sit flat against your skin.
Restart the connection
If necessary, close G Band, toggle Bluetooth off and on, reopen the app and reconnect.
Notifications & Phone Permissions
Some XERAFIT models may support additional connected functions through G Band.
If you choose to use these features, G Band may request additional permissions on your smartphone.
You can manage these permissions at any time through your phone's settings.
If a feature is not working, check both:
G Band → Device Settings
and
Phone Settings → Apps → G Band → Permissions
The exact menu names can vary between iPhone and Android devices.
Switching to a New Phone
When moving to a new smartphone, we recommend removing or unbinding XERAFIT from G Band on your old phone first.
Then:
-
Install G Band on your new phone.
-
Enable Bluetooth.
-
Open G Band.
-
Complete the app setup.
-
Search for your XERAFIT.
-
Connect the device.
-
Allow synchronization to complete.
